| Job Role & Responsibilities : |
Account Director will manage a set/or a set of sectors e.g. FMCG/
Automobile or NGOs/ Telecom (segregated here as old economy and new
economy). S/he will be accountable for the current projects and
responsible for new business development in the specified sectors and
with the existing clients.
This s/he will manage through a team 3 to 5 Account Service Managers/
Senior Account Service Managers, each directly responsible to manage one
or more accounts/ projects.
The Account Service Manager will be managing accounts/projects with
business revenue of minimum Rs. 1 crore per year. Senior Account
Managers are those with longer experience, considered having potential
for higher role and therefore will be managing bigger clients or number
of clients.
The Account Director will be directly responsible for new business,
project plan, creative and project costs whereas will be accountable for
business development with existing clients, project time lines and
production. S/he will need to support his/her Account Service Manager to
closely co-ordinate with operations, production and client interface.
S/he will operate on 2 years task horizon, will be have 5 to 7 managers
reporting in to the position, will require to interact/influence/give
improvement suggestions to colleagues across teams – operation,
production and creative. |
| Responsibilities : |
- Responsible for new business development for certain
sectors/industry.
- Revenue responsibility for Rs. 7.5 crores per year.
- Responsible for new clients business (new is one that has not
done business with the company for last 12 months)
- Responsible for new creative ideas.
- Responsible for Project Closure with the client.
- Joint Responsibility for business from the current clients
including new projects.
- Joint Responsibility for the project costing.
- Accountable for creative, operation time line planning and
production.
